Before Somax                                         After Somax

Nathan Osborne came to Somax at age 16 to improve his speed on the 300 hurdles. He dropped his time from 44 seconds to 40.4—an improvement of 8%.  When he returned to train with his track team, his coach asked his parents "Where did Nathan get that mile-long stride?".

By increasing his stride angle from 95 to 125 degrees (30 degrees), Nathan increased his stride length 60%, as each degree increases stride length by 2%.

Nathan also increased his breathing range in his chest from 3" to 4", which helped reduce the respiratory distress from exercise induced asthma.
